Haddack of Bath £SOLD

A beautiful Regency bracket clock by Willam Haddack of Bath.

The case, with exceptional mahogany veneer, is of the single pad break arch style. Having fish scale side and front frets, glass rear door, round cream dial and carrying handle.

The 8 day twin fusee movement, with strike/silent and pull repeat, strikes the hours on a single bell. Movement plates are engraved to the edges, as well as the fixing brackets. All the movement is totally original with no replaced parts.

Round cream painted convex dial with maker Haddack of Pultney Bridge Bath written. Original very pretty blued steel hands. Strike/ Silent lever at the very top.

Height 16 inches, width 12 inches, depth 7.5 inches.

William Haddack worked at Pultney Bridge and Bridge Street between 1798 and 1819.
