An early 20th. century electric wall clock by the french Bulle company.
Round mahogany case in the style of an english school clock, these clocks were marketed in england as the replacement for the fusee dial clock, being free from any need to wind, the clock going continually using a battery powered electro magnet.
This example complete and original and has not been restored except for the use of a more modern battery.
